Customers benefit from using G4S reception desk officers, as officers have completed basic and advanced training in Applied Security and are also able to provide other services (reception desk administration, part of manned guarding, part of fire safety) if required.
Reception desk services will always be provided in accordance with prescribed and agreed behaviour procedures. These procedures cover the proper treatment of clients, handling of technical devices and equipment which are used in daily operations, active participating in operative and administrative jobs which are part of regular site functioning, and active participating in solving any possible extraordinary occurances within working hours; all through coordination with security.
G4S follows strict criteria in selection of reception desk officers, including:
1. Clear background (screened)
2. Fluency in English
3. Wide knowledge and perspective in general culture (Tourism and hospitality high school or business school education is an advantage)
4. Proven track record and experience in providing such services at office or hotel sites
6. Pleasant overall appearance
